AIAVIEM aims to make artificial intelligence accessible to blind and visually impaired people who work – or wish to work – in the marketing field. The project develops inclusive vocational training pathways that combine AI tools, assistive technologies, and digital marketing skills. By bridging the gap between technological innovation and accessibility, AIAVIEM promotes equal opportunities and supports active participation in the digital labour market.
The project aims to strengthen digital readiness and professional competences among blind learners and IT trainers by developing accessible, high-quality educational resources on artificial intelligence in marketing. Its goals include analysing learner needs, developing tailored training materials, equipping trainers with tools for effective AI knowledge transfer, and finally, conducting pilot courses in Poland and Italy. AIAVIEM also aims to strengthen institutional capacity, foster international cooperation, and contribute to more inclusive and innovative vocational education and training systems adapted to the evolving demands of the labour market.
The AIAVIEM project will produce two fully accessible handbooks (for trainers and for blind learners), structured training programmes, pilot training courses in both partner countries, and multimedia educational materials with audio description. All resources will be published as Open Educational Resources (OER), compliant with digital accessibility standards and available free of charge online to ensure sustainability and European-wide impact.
Beyond these tangible outputs, the project will deliver important additional benefits: increased participant confidence in digital technologies, strengthened employment prospects, closer cooperation between partner organisations, expanded expertise in accessible AI-based training, and greater awareness of the potential of artificial intelligence as a tool for social inclusion in vocational education. These broader effects will contribute to long-term professional integration and innovation in the vocational education and training sector.
